Drama and Musical Theatre classes
My 4 year old daughter really enjoys her Saturday morning drama tots class and wouldn’t miss it for the world. – Thank you!Mrs W (Addlestone) The Newson Academy was established in April 2007 by Jo Anne Newson with a small number of pupils and has now grown into a Saturday school with weekday classes also available. We are a friendly drama school that runs weekly Drama and Musical Theatre classes for children aged 3 to 16 years and adults. We currently provide expert tuition to approx 25 children and adults drama classes. The performing arts are a great way to develop self confidence, self esteem, communication skills and open imaginations as well.
We firmly believe that every child and adult should be encouraged to be creative and to use his or her imagination to the fullest, to prepare children and adults for a successful future in any walk of life, to treat each child and adult as an individual and to allow them to reach their true artistic potential in a safe, friendly and encouraging environment.
Our small classes mean that each child and adult receives the individual attention and tuition they deserve! There are no more than 15 children in each class and in the children’s classes 2 teachers are ALWAYS PRESENT!
No previous drama experience is necessary, just come with plenty of enthusiasm, commitment and the ability to have fun at our classes at Pyrford and surrounding areas.
SUMMER TERM starts Saturday 24th April
We run weekly Children's Drama & Musical Theatre classes as well as Summer school and Drama Holiday Workshops. We also offer Adult Drama classes.
