Meet The Team

Having worked at the local theatre during my training. I was then employed by a theatrical agency before working professionally as both an actor and singer appearing in theatre, television, film and commercials for seven years.

In 2007 I trained as a Speech, Drama and LAMDA teacher. Since then I  have taught in both state and private schools as well as teaching private pupils across Surrey and Berkshire.

My pupils have achieved a 100% Pass Rate since 2009 in Acting, Devising, Introductory Poetry, Reading for Performance, Public Speaking and Speaking of Verse and Prose.

I am passionate about teaching the next generation of actors, performers and professionals and passing on my knowledge, love and experience of the Arts.

Miss Jo - Principal

My passion for the performing arts began at a young age when I was involved in the local drama scene both at school and in amateur dramatics taking roles in various productions of pantomimes, musicals and plays.

After a five-year career in the Civil Service, I enrolled as a mature student to follow my dreams and train in the performing arts on a BA (Hons) course, graduating from the University of Hertfordshire in 1998.

Miss Viki - Admin & Publicity

I started performing at a young age and was involved with countless drama and musical projects throughout my teenage years.

I had singing and instrumental lessons for many years and went on to University to study a Music Performance Degree, which in turn led to my taking LAMDA Exams.

I continued to perform locally in various stage productions, while singing professionally on the Working Mens' Clubs and Holiday Parks circuit in the North East and teaching singing and musical theatre for a national stage school franchise. I also worked as an extra for a well known Channel 4 TV programme.

I met Miss Jo whilst studying for the ADPA Teaching of Performing Arts Certificate in 2007 and we have both worked together and remained close friends ever since.

I now have a young family and have hung up my performance hat, working full time instead in Purchasing and running the Admin side of things for the Academy part time, managing the website, publicity and exam entries.
